Sam Lowe a reasearch fellow at the Centre for European Reform, spoke to Sky News about Trumps and tariffs saying that the UK is in a bind. On the one hand, the EU is the only trading bloc big enough to stand up to Trump. On the other, a trade deal with the US was one of the great promises of Brexit. While quietly in favour of the EU measures, the UK’s left hoping Trump forgets it’s still a member.
